Job: Payroll Manager

Our client in Washington, DC is looking for a sharp and detailed-oriented Payroll Manager to step in and own the payroll function.  The role will ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and all its related functions, will generate reports for management and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.  The role works collaboratively with the HR department.  The ideal candidate will have:

• BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline Advanced skills in Payroll-related systems (ADP and Office suite)
• Certified Payroll Professional with 10+ years of payroll experience
• 5+ years of payroll manager experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
• Proven ability in process reengineering and systems implementations (Domestic & International)
