Job: Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

Our client, a successful company in the forefront of cutting-edge technology  seeks a Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting.  This position requires a highly motivated, detail and service oriented individual to be responsible for managing the company’s technical accounting and financial government compliance.

• Research accounting issues, prepare technical accounting memos and provide timely guidance to senior management.
• Oversight over revenue accounting and analysis, month end close, corporate SOX processes and SEC Reporting support.
• Responsible for the financial government compliance function
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, processes and procedures
• Support various special projects as required.
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual special reporting
• Assist with SEC Reporting, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting/Finance
• CPA
• Big4 a big plus
• SEC reporting / Technical Accounting
• Some government contracting experience
