Job: Assistant Controller

Our client located in Northern Virginia seeks an Assistant Controller to join its Accounting team.  The position offers a fast-paced challenging environment with the benefits of a collaborative, work/life friendly team environment.  It’s a great opportunity reporting to the Vice President and Controller.

• Management of Accounting Operations
• Consolidations
• Preparation and review of complex financial analysis.
• Manages the training and development of staff.
• Preparation of internal financial statements

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Accounting.
• CPA required.
• 7 years of progressive and varied accounting experience
• Supervisory experience over all standard accounting functions Strong analytical, technical research and spreadsheet modeling skills
• Experience with commercial loan accounting preferred
• Financial Services or Telecom industry experience
