Role: JOB COST ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
General Ledger
- Enter journal entries and reconcile the various companies’ bank accounts.
- Prepare monthly account analyses
- Prepare Financial Schedules as needed.
- Assist in the annual audit with the independent auditors.
Job Cost
- Enter all change orders, back charges, subcontracts, award analysis, and projected adjustments into the accounting system.
- Prepare & distribute all monthly job cost reports to the Project Managers and Project Executives.
- Prepare the close out package for all completed jobs.
- Prepare quarterly reports for related projects.
Accounts Receivable
- Prepare and enter monthly billings to Joint Venture partners.
- Enter and analyze monthly owner requisitions.
- Enter job-related and cash receipts
Accounts Payable
- Primarily responsible for the processing and maintenance of accounts payable function to subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience preferably within the construction, contracting or real estate industry
- Specific experience with Timberline Accounting System preferred
