Our client, a government contractor in Northern Virginia seeks a talented, highly motivated and experienced Senior Contracts Manager as a temporary consultant to work on a project.  The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years experience in cradle to grave management of Federal Government contracts.

• Serves as the point of contact for Government Contracting Officers, auditors and internal management.
• Negotiating/administering contracts and various contracting agreements.
• Preparation of fully documented requests to Contracting Officer for consent to subcontract packages.
• Monitoring contract execution against plan and funding, and preparing timely status reports.
• Identifying and reporting potential financial risks, contractual pitfalls and conflict of interest conditions.
