Our growing client, a software start up, located in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Senior Accountant. This will report into an Assistant Controller (great mentor, ex public accounting/CPA) and will be responsible for GL accounting, financial reporting, and ad-hoc projects. Duties include journal entries and reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, business reporting, due diligence on acquisition targets, ad-hoc FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, etc.), month end close management, billing, and USGAAP / accounting policy compliance. This is a fast growing company, with opportunity to grow with the firm. Public accounting and CPA is preferred but not required.
