Job: Manager of Financial Operations

Our client in Northern VA seeks a Manager of Financial Operations to oversee overall program financial management, planning and systems and controls. This position’s primary responsibility is to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership to the business unit’s financial support organizations.

• Researches, analyzes, recommends, and implements solutions to complex problems.
• Understand strategic goals that impact the expenses related to day-to-day functional activities.
• Lead and/or assist in the development of strategic and tactical plans,
• Provide recommendations and implements business process improvements, cost reductions and other continuous improvement efforts that support departmental and organizational strategic initiatives

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience at the manager level
• Demonstrated knowledge of government contracts, CAS, FAR, and accounting principles
• Knowledge of Costpoint Financial System
