Job: Assistant Controller

Our $500M+ PE backed, rapidly scaling logistics and supply chain company is seeking an exceptional Assistant Corporate Controller to join its accounting leadership team during a period of significant growth and transformation. This highly visible role is ideal for an ex-Big 4 CPA (or similarly trained public accounting professional) with strong corporate consolidations, technical accounting, and financial reporting experience who is eager to move beyond traditional reporting into a broader leadership seat. Reporting into senior finance leadership, this position offers meaningful exposure to M&A integration, finance transformation, systems optimization, executive/board-level reporting, and scaling a complex multi-entity organization. We are looking for a technically strong, high-potential leader who enjoys building scalable processes, partnering cross-functionally, and driving change in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment. Hybrid role based in Chicago, IL with domestic travel generally one week per month (approximately two weeks per month during onboarding).  Compensation is targeted around $175K + Bonus.
