We have been engaged by our real estate client based in Reston, VA to conduct a search for a Corporate Controller to join their senior leadership team. This highly visible, hands-on/strategic role will interact regularly with the C-Suite and Stakeholders. Responsibilities include leadership over consolidated financial statements and reporting, performance metrics covering the operating portfolio, cash management and investment strategies, facilitation of strong internal controls, tax strategy, and guidance on complex transactions around acquisitions/dispositions and development with JV partners. Ideal profile includes 15+ years of commercial real estate industry, development and/or construction. Must have collaborative leadership style and interact at all levels within the company.
