Our client — a midsize defense contractor in Fairfax, VA has an immediate need for a Director of Business Development. Reporting to the CGO, seeking a strategic, mission-focused BD/Growth executive to drive growth and capture new opportunities across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence branches, and national security agencies. This senior leader will focus heavily on expanding our footprint and have deep relationships with the Pentagon to include U.S. Army and Navy. Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in defense business development, capture management, or military acquisition, with a documented track record of winning competitive DoD contracts. Experience with targeted pipeline growth, customer & stakeholder shaping, capture and proposal excellence and strategic teaming success. Hybrid role with some travel.
