Job: Senior Accountant

My client, a growing technology firm in Northern Virginia is looking for a Sr. Accountant for their corporate group.  This is an established firm with excellent work-life balance and benefit package.  They maintain a very talented management team and offer a collaborative environment in which to grow and develop.  You must have the ability to work cross functionally and communicate in a clear, concise manner.

Responsibilities include:

• General Ledger and accounting operations responsibilities.
• Technical accounting which will include accounting for revenue recognition, deferred revenue, inventory and investment accounting
• Record and track sales of products and services
• Various ad hoc reporting

Experience to include:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or active CPA certification
• Corporate accounting experience including general ledger and revenue recognition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
