Chris Jones joined Capital Search Group in the spring of 2014, bringing over 15 years of accounting and finance recruiting experience, including time with a national staffing firm, to every search he runs.

Like several of our recruiters, Chris didn't start his career in recruiting at all. He began in public accounting at Ernst & Young, then moved into the corporate world with NVR, a publicly traded homebuilder, before transitioning into search. That progression from public accounting to corporate finance to recruiting means Chris understands the roles he fills from the inside out. He's not guessing at what makes a strong Controller or Financial Analyst. He's been one.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marist College and passed the CPA exam in 1997.

He lives in the Ashburn area with his wife and two daughters. When he's not working, Chris is usually found around a motorcycle or under the hood of a car, a genuine gearhead through and through.
