Mark Fields joined Capital Search Group in November of 2016, but his relationship with the firm goes back decades before that.

Mark spent over 30 years in accounting and finance, beginning his career at Price Waterhouse and going on to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Controller for both public and private companies. Along the way, the Capital Search Group team placed Mark three times throughout his career, and when Mark needed to build his own teams, he turned around and hired multiple candidates through that same relationship.

So when Mark decided to enter the next phase of his career, recruiting wasn't a stretch. It was a natural next step. He had been on both sides of the table for years, as a candidate trusting us with his own career moves and as a hiring manager trusting us to bring him the right people. Few recruiters anywhere bring that level of firsthand credibility to the work.

Mark earned his B.A. in Accounting from Loyola University in Baltimore and passed the CPA exam in 1980. He lives in Olney, Maryland with his wife. They have three children and one grandson.
